DIN 6914 (EN 14399-4) bolt: HV system, assembly and dimensions

DIN 6914 is the high-strength hex bolt for steel structures, in property class 10.9 and with a larger across flats than a DIN 933 bolt of the same size. Today it is ordered as EN 14399-4, the HV system.

In structural work the bolt is not bought on its own: you buy the assembly of bolt, nut and washers of the same system and from the same manufacturer. Specify the tightening class, the finish and the certificate in the same order.
