DIN 975 threaded rod and DIN 976-1 stud: what to order
← Back to standards and grades
DIN 975 is threaded rod in bars: threaded along the whole length, to be cut to size on site or in the workshop. The standard has been withdrawn, but it is still the name used to order the bar.
DIN 976-1 covers metric threaded studs, parts already cut to the length of the order. Its 2016 edition replaces the 2002 DIN 976. If you need hundreds of identical pieces, order studs and not bar.
