ISO 4017 bolt: table of dimensions, across flats and head
← Back to standards and grades
ISO 4017 is the hex head bolt threaded along the whole length of the shank. It replaces DIN 933 and is the designation to use today in drawings and orders.
The geometry is the same as DIN 933 except for the across flats at M10, M12, M14 and M22. If you switch from one standard to the other in those sizes, check the spanner and the space around the head.
| Thread size | DIN 933 across flats | ISO 4017 across flats |

| M12 | 19 mm | 18 mm |
