DIN 933 (ISO 4017) bolt: full thread, dimensions and property classes
← Back to standards and grades
DIN 933 is the hex head bolt threaded along the whole length of the shank. It is the most common reference in industrial metric fasteners when the part is tightened directly onto a thread or with a nut and no plain shank is needed.
Its current equivalent is ISO 4017. The bolt geometry is the same, but in some sizes the across flats of the head changes, so the spanner that fits one does not always fit the other.
We supply it in property classes 8.8 and 10.9, in zinc plated, black or hot-dip galvanised steel depending on the size. If you cannot find a size in the catalogue, ask for a quote: we work to order with factory lead times.
